During the month of November, we are learning the concept of : Procedure.
The purpose of a procedure is to list the actions and/or steps to follow in order to complete a specific task. The students are being exposed to different procedures - writing procedure, mathematical procedure, scientific procedure.
They are learning about instructions and are aware that an instructional sentence begins by an action word (a verb). This can be further explored at home playing games like "Simon says".
The students will soon begin writing their own instructions. Also, a project is coming up shortly - stay tuned!
